Our first time here. Wanted outdoor seating with live music. Found it here. Too bad the weather wasn’t great, but this place was worth it. Our server was Hailey. She was superb. Personable, knowledgeable and friendly. She made great suggestions. We ordered some cocktails, but the real hero was their entrees.
Next time you visit The Cape, give this place a try.

This was the best meal we ate on our 10 day vacation! The fish dip appetizer was excellent, the catch of the day cobia was excellent, the fried plantains were very good and we enjoyed sitting outside on the water. Highly recommended!

Jamie was our server and she was absolutely spot on with refills, timely delivery of our food and good conversation! The view is amazing, you can see dolphins and other beautiful Florida wildlife as you enjoy your meal. The food is out of this world! We tried the French onion soup, Seafood chowder, California roll and the prime rib sandwich. Everything was hot, fresh and delicious. The prime rib was tender and juicy and not too salty. We had a spectacular experience with Jamie she made the meal fun and we will return!

Rumrunners is a must do! The views of the water, the food, the various seating options are all fantastic. The Captiva Pass Sushi Roll is my personal favorite menu item, but everything is really good.

The service, view and food were all impeccable. We visited for a Saturday lunch and sat out on the water so we could watch all the boats go by. We are fish dip connoisseurs and they had the best fish dip we’ve had anywhere, including all the restaurants we’ve been to in the keys. We both had the crunchy grouper sandwich which we both loved. We also enjoyed a piña colada and a lime in a coconut, both drinks were on point. Our server was friendly and attentive, I wish I could remember her name! We will be back next time we are in town!

This was the third time in a row that we went to this restaurant. The service was top notch! We were greeted the second we stepped in the place. It was a fun vibe, we sat inside, sat outside. There was live music on day. We had drinks, apps, entrees, and dessert. All fabulous!!!! We definitely recommend Rumrunners! Our waitress Denine was super friendly, efficient, she was pretty amazing.

Had a fantastic experience at Rumrunners! The food was great — everything came out fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. On top of that, the view is absolutely amazing. It’s the kind of place where you can sit back, relax, and just enjoy the water and atmosphere. Definitely a spot worth visiting if you’re in Cape Coral!

We had a wonderful evening at Rumrunners on Christmas Eve.
The special holiday menu was excellent, with a great selection, and the food was outstanding across the board. Everything was very well prepared and clearly made with attention to quality and detail.
Service was very attentive, friendly, and professional, and the overall atmosphere of the restaurant was warm and inviting—perfect for a special evening. Combined with the beautiful location, it made for a truly enjoyable dining experience.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for a great restaurant and a memorable evening in Cape Coral.

From asking for ( and being seated at) a table with a great water view, to getting a smiling attentive waitress, with great recommendations - and even having the sun out the entire time!), it was just a great experience!
The '41 Ford V8 out front, the smoked "1941" cocktail, the seafood chowder,...all added to the experience. And every table within our view had smiling people enjoying food, drink & lively conversation.
Make it a point to stop in!
